Über den Autor Elin Hilderbrand

Elin Hilderbrand studierte Kreatives Schreiben an der Johns Hopkins Universität. Nach einer kurzen Tätigkeit im Verlagswesen und als Lehrerin in New York City zog sie 1994 endgültig nach Nantucket. Sie nahm am Autorenworkshop der University of Iowa teil, erwarb 1998 ihren MFA und veröffentlichte im Sommer ihren ersten Roman, Das Strandhotel, dem 29 weitere Romane folgten, von denen zahlreiche auf der New York Times-Bestsellerliste landeten. Ihr Roman Der beste Sommer aller Zeiten aus dem Jahr 2019 war ihr erster Roman, der es auf Platz 1 schaffte. Sie ist Mutter von drei Kindern und begeisterte Pelotonfahrerin, Hobbyköchin und passionierte Strandgängerin.
