Über den Autor Elena Favilli

Elena Favilli, geboren 1982, ist Mitbegründerin und CEO der Rebel Girls-Buchreihe, die sich weltweit für die Stärkung von Mädchen einsetzt. Sie arbeitete als Unternehmerin und Journalistin, bevor sie das erfolgreichste Buch-Crowdfunding der Geschichte startete: Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls - 100 außergewöhnliche Frauen. Es wurde 2017 wie auch sein Nachfolger 2018 ein Welt-Beststeller in über 40 Ländern. Bei Hanser erschienen außerdem ein Ausmalbuch, 50 Postkarten, ein Kalender und ein Journal zur Rebel Girls-Reihe. 2020 folgte der dritte Band Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls - 100 Migrantinnen, die die Welt verändern.Francesca Cavallo ist Autorin und Theaterregisseurin, deren preisgekrönte Stücke in ganz Europa inszeniert wurden. Als leidenschaftliche Innovatorin hat Cavallo Sferracavalli gegründet, ein internationales Festival der nachhaltigen Fantasie in Süditalien. 2011 tat Cavallo sich mit Elena Favilli zusammen, bei Timbuktu Labs arbeitet sie als Kreativdirektorin. Ihr Kinderbuch Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls (Hanser 2017) entwickelte sich zum Beststeller in 44 Ländern. 2018 erschien mit Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 2 die Fortsetzung. Es folgten Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls - Ausmalbuch, ein Malbuch nach Motiven aus den Biografie-Bänden, sowie die Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls - 50 Postkarten. Im Herbst 2019 erschienen I'm a Rebel Girl - Mein Journal für ein rebellisches Leben und der Kalender für Rebel Girls.Birgitt Kollmann studierte Englisch, Spanisch und Schwedisch in Heidelberg. Sie arbeitet als freie Übersetzerin aus dem Englischen und Spanischen und lebt an der Hessischen Bergstraße. Für Hanser hat sie u. a. schon Michael Gerard Bauer, Clay Carmichael, Jenny Han, Alison McGhee, Jacqueline Kelly, Sally Nicholls, Joyce Carol Oates, Juan Villoro, Sarah Weeks, Lauren Wolk und Katya Balen übersetzt. Sie wurde zweifach mit dem Katholischen Kinder- und Jugendbuchpreis und 2019 mit dem Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreis ausgezeichnet.
