Jean Lorrain, 1855 in Fécamp, Département Seine-Maritime, geboren, gilt als einer wichtigsten Vertreter des Französischen Symbolismus. Er war Autor von Gedichten, Kurzgeschichten und Romanen. Er berichtete unter dem Pseudonym Raitif de la Bretonne über die Pariser Nachtwelt, und war bekannt für sein dandyhaftes Auftreten und seine offen gelebte Homosexualität. Er betätigte sich darüber hinaus als Skandalreporter und war eine typische Figur der Bohème in der Belle Époque. Er starb 1906 in Paris und hatte sich im Laufe seines Lebens den Beinamen »Prinz der Dekadenz« redlich verdient. Christoph Pollakowski, 1964 in Saarlouis geboren, arbeitet seit 1992 als Diplombibliothekar an der Universität Marburg. Leo Pinke, 1992 bei Marburg geboren, lebt in Rennes und Leipzig. Er promoviert zur deutschsprachigen Rezeption moderner französischer Poesie und übersetzt aus dem Französischen.
