Katrina Charman wollte Kinderbuchautorin werden, seit sie elf war. Damals forderte ihr Lehrer die Klasse auf, ein Nachwort zu Roald Dahls Buch Matilda zu schreiben. Katrinas Lehrer fand ihren Text gut genug, um ihn an Roald Dahl persönlich zu schicken. Leider hat sie nie eine Antwort erhalten, aber dieses Erlebnis entfachte ihre Liebe zum Lesen und Schreiben. Katrina lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihren drei Kindern in England.Judit Tondora wurde in Ungarn geboren. Als Illustratorin und Grafikerin war sie für verschiedene Verlage und als Werbedesignerin tätig. Heute genießt sie es, in ihrem Studio auf dem Land zu arbeiten, wo sie aus ihrem Fenster Tiere wie Talon und Agila beobachten kann.
