Meg has always dreamed of riding a brilliant pony, jumping a clear round and winning a rosette. But when she takes Merlin to the local horse show, things don't work out the way she hoped. In her second-hand riding clothes, sitting on a borrowed pony, she isn't sure she belongs there.
But then she discovers that friends can be found in unexpected places.
