Richard McGuire ist als Künstler in den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen tätig. So hat er unter anderem preisgekrönte Kinderbücher, animierte Kurzfilme, innovative Spiele und Spielzeuge, bahnbrechende Comics und Klangskulpturen geschaffen. Als Gründungsmitglied und Bassist der Band Liquid Liquid zeichnet er zudem für eine der bekanntesten Basslines der Popgeschichte verantwortlich. Seit 2005 entwirft McGuire Vignetten für das Magazin 'The New Yorker'. Zuletzt erschien bei DuMont seine Graphic NovelSTEPHAN KLEINER, geboren 1975, lebt als literarischer Übersetzer in München. Er übertrug u. a. Meg Wolitzer, Chad Harbach, Nick Hornby, Bret Easton Ellis, Charlie Kaufman und Hanya Yanagihara ins Deutsche.
