Über den Autor Benjamin Myers

BENJAMIN MYERS, geboren 1976, ist Journalist und Schriftsteller. Myers hat nicht nur Romane, sondern auch Sachbücher und Lyrik geschrieben. Für seine literarischen Arbeiten hat er mehrere Preise erhalten. Sein Roman 'Offene See' (DuMont 2020) stand wochenlang auf der SPIEGEL-Bestsellerliste und wurde mit dem Preis des unabhängigen Buchhandels als Lieblingsbuch des Jahres ausgezeichnet. 2021 erschien 'Der perfekte Kreis' (DuMont). Er lebt mit seiner Frau in Nordengland.ULRIKE WASEL und KLAUS TIMMERMANN, beide 1955 geboren, haben Anglistik in Düsseldorf studiert. Seither arbeiten sie als Übersetzerteam und haben u. a. Dave Eggers, Tana French, Andre Dubus III., Harper Lee, Jeanette Walls, Zadie Smith und Delia Owens ins Deutsche übertragen.ULRIKE WASEL und KLAUS TIMMERMANN, beide 1955 geboren, haben Anglistik in Düsseldorf studiert.
