Über den Autor Marcus Aurelius Antonius

Mark Aurel war von 161 bis 180 als Nachfolger seines Adoptivvaters Antonius Pius römischer Kaiser. Er wurde geboren am 26. April 121 in Rom und verstarb am 17. März 180 in Vindobona oder Sirmium. Als Philosoph war er der letzte bedeutende Vertreter der jüngeren Stoa.
