Tony Sandoval ist ein mexikanischer Illustrator und Autor mit einer Leidenschaft für seltsame Geschichten. Geboren 1973 in der Wüste im Nordwesten Mexikos, entdeckty er seine Liebe für Kunst und Musik. Sein erster US-amerikanischer Comic, Doomboy, wurde 2015 für einen Eisner Award als beste Publikation für Jugendliche nominiert und wurde in diesem Jahr von mehreren Best-of-Listen ausgewählt.
